GlasGarten Shrimp Fit is a special feed for shrimp, which acts as an immune booster and provides a better defence against shrimp. It can support the shrimp against infections and eliminates toxins and dangerous bacteria.

The supplementary feed for shrimp GlasGarten ShrimpFit was specially designed as an immune booster. The ingredients can quickly "boost" your shrimp's immune system and put dangerous bacteria out of action. GlasGarten ShrimpFit strengthens the resistance of the bottom-dwellers in your aquarium. The important active ingredients here are beta-glucans, mannan oligosaccharides, valuable minerals and chitin.

Very often shrimp do not get sick from really "bad" pathogens, but from the normal bacteria that are always and everywhere in the aquarium and which are also used there. If these bacteria become too numerous and the shrimp's immune system is weakened by stress or unfavourable conditions, shrimp can get sick.

If you put snails or fish in your already running aquarium with shrimps, it can happen that the newly added bacteria lead to failures - the so-called bacterial intolerance. With the immune boosters in the special food GlasGarten Shrimp Fit you can prevent and revitalise the immune system of your animals so that they do not fall victim to the pathogens.

But GlasGarten ShrimpFit can not only push your shrimp's immune system and strengthen its defences, it also eliminates poisons and bacteria due to its strong binding power.

The beta-1,3-1,6-glucans added here are soluble fibres. The shrimp 's immune system treats them like a pathogen without causing an illness itself - this is how a primitive defence system like shrimps also runs at full speed, thereby also overriding the bacteria that are also still present. But not only that - they also have anti-inflammatory effects, ensure that the pH value in the intestine drops and thus regulate the intestinal flora.

The mannan oligosaccharides that also appear in the list of ingredients have a prebiotic effect, which means that they support the intestinal bacteria and can ensure an optimally composed intestinal flora. All of this together forms a protective barrier on the intestinal mucosa, which ensures that pathogens cannot use the intestine as a gateway.

GlasGarten Shrimp Fit also contains minerals and chitin, which can help your shrimp to develop their shell and to moult them. Every moult is a mega-feat for a shrimp and makes it quite vulnerable. Skinning problems are the number one cause of death in shrimp!

Feeding recommendation (each about 100 litres)

First aid
If your shrimp are already showing problems and you have already sighted the first sick or even dead animals, you should immediately feed a heaped measuring spoon per 100 litres of aquarium water to boost the shrimp's immune system. After two days, add another heaping measuring spoon to 100 liters of aquarium water.

Prevention
You can also regularly feed GlasGarten ShrimpFit for prevention and take advantage of the strengthening of the immune system in your shrimp aquarium. This way, any intruders are directly, quickly and effectively fought before they can become a problem.

With normal stocking density in your aquarium, you give half a measuring spoon twice a week, with high stocking density you increase to 1 heaped measuring spoon twice a week.
A heaped measuring spoon corresponds to approx. 0.7 g.

Please refrain from a different feed a few hours before and after feeding with GlasGarten ShrimpFit so that the beta glucan can work optimally, and be careful not to feed too much! You should not feed more or more than stated because the ingredients in the GlasGarten Shrimp Fit work for several days and you have no advantages from a higher dosage.
